Quick tip - makeshift light box

What's a crafter to do when she needs to trace a pattern, but there's no lightbox nearby?
Improvise one with some scotch tape and a sunny window, that's what.

An artist friend of mine has a sheet of plexiglas that is cut to fit the gap in her dining room table when it is fully extended. She then puts a table lamp under the table for a light source. Put the item to copy on the plexi with your paper on top and you're good to go. Only thing to be stored is the plexi. Not as easy as the window but available on overcast days.
